There's a spark within each of us, a potential waiting to be ignited. For students on the autism spectrum at Jeremiah School, that spark shines uniquely. Jeremiah School recognizes their talents and strives to provide the resources and support they need to thrive.
We're announcing a new initiative to empower these individuals and build a brighter future for them and our community.
"You want to make sure that it makes an impact The people at Jeremiah school are just incredible for what they do. Take it form me the exposure that I've had, and you want to make sure that the people are thankful, and they're so thankful for giving." -David Talley, Talley Financial
"Just because that's who they are doesn't mean that they don't deserve everything that we all have and I'm so excited.
Because it's something that we could all get behind."- Lewis Kizer, SmAsh Meals

Easing financial strains on Jeremiah School ensures its enduring legacy, continuing our commitment to growth and development.
From Classroom to Career: Equipping Students with the Skills to Succeed
Jeremiah School has been a beacon of hope for students on the autism spectrum, providing a nurturing environment that celebrates their unique talents. However, as a non-profit, it is a constant challenge to secure funds to develop new programs and expand its student enrollment. According to the CDC, 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and many are overlooked in traditional educational settings despite their incredible potential
2024 Goal: $166,000 to Empower Exceptional Students
Required Funds | Purpose of the funds |
---|---|
$20,000 | for modern technology and digital learning resources, bridging the digital divide and enhancing students' access to educational tools. |
$20,000 | to cover utilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment conducive to student success. |
$10,000 | for internet upgrades, enabling enhanced online learning and access to a wealth of educational resources. |
$60,000 | for a vehicle to transport students to field trips, internships, and job placements, which will provide them with real-world experiences and career opportunities. |
$56,000 | in tuition assistance, allocating $14,000 each to four deserving students, removing financial barriers to education and skill development. |
"At Jeremiah School, we recognize our students as gifted individuals, each with unique skills, intelligence, and creativity. However, they need help accessing specialized resources and support," says Jo Cullen, the Executive Director of Jeremiah School. "Research consistently demonstrates that with the right interventions, accommodations, and support, individuals with ASD have the potential to excel and lead fulfilling, productive and happy lives."

He has settled in like a frog in his favorite pond! He loves school, his class, and his incredible friends. He has discovered his own voice. Jeremiah School has given him the skills, self-assurance, and confidence to be himself, and to use his beautiful voice to share his dreams, fears, hopes, and ideas. Thank you!
I am able to enjoy my son again – he is no longer stressed and exhausted when he gets home. We are able to bond instead of fight over homework. He is starting to compliment himself instead of only criticizing himself. He is excited to share his interests with friends, and he has become more self-aware with his emotions.
She loves Jeremiah School and would be happy never to have a day off! She is happy and less anxious than she was before. I love that she has real friends and a wonderful teacher. Thank you to everyone at the school for all that you do, I appreciate you all so much!
